The application should be submitted to the regional office of that institution, by filling out an appropriate form, which is provided by the institution itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">European nationals do not need to hold a work permit to exercise a professional activity in France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Un employeur peut embaucher, de sa propre initiative, un \u00e9tranger qui r\u00e9side d\u00e9j\u00e0 en France ou vient d&#8217;arriver. Id\u00e9alement, le demandeur d&#8217;emploi d\u00e9tient une autorisation de travail d\u00e9livr\u00e9e par le pays o\u00f9 est \u00e9tabli son employeur et valable pour l&#8217;emploi qu&#8217;il va occuper en France.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In each case ( if you live in France or have just arrived), the procedures are different. So, let's explain the first case; you are already in France and have an employment contract.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Authentication request. \nBy law, before hiring you, the employer must first check that you have a valid (unexpired) work permit or residence permit which also contains the authorization to work. Let us not forget that you can have a residence permit but just for staying in France, not for working there. In this case, the hiring process changes and I cover this topic in another article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">We will talk here about the case where you have a residence permit which also allows you to work. This work authorization is usually clearly written on the document. Let's come back to the employer to whom you sent your valid permit before signing the contract. What is he doing in the meantime?
